Moving dirt on their new site at Fairfield Industrial Park – South are the movers and shakers at Hoover Treated Wood Products, Inc.
Lending a hand during the official groundbreaking on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 were Fairfield Mayor Kenneth Hughes, Contractor Jerry Don McLeod, and Fairfield EDC President David Fowler.
HTWP dignitaries included David Gillrie – President and CEO Hoover Treated wood Products; Curtis Rhodes – VP of Manufacturing; Tom Kubitz – Regional Mfg. Director; Keith Miller – Project Engineer; and Barry Holden – Retired/Former President.
This location will make the eleventh plant for the company, and they have indicated that they are planning on doubling the projected output for the proposed facility.
The capital expenses for this project is projected at $9 million with 10 jobs by the first year, and 40 more jobs by the end of year four.
