Limestone County was told to scale back public occupancy to 50% due to a decision by the State of Texas.

The ”Trauma Group Advisory” includes Limestone, Hill, Bosque, Falls and McClellan Counties, and due to it being .4% above the 15% of available hospital beds, all counties were told to scale back.

Currently Limestone County has zero patients in the hospital, and the County has no way to know how many Limestone County Residents are in Waco Hospitals according to Limestone County Judge Richard Duncan.

Judge Duncan has sent a letter to Governor Abbott’s office to request an exception, but as of press time there is no answer on whether or not it was given.
