The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 1191 held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, 14 Nov 2023 at the Sirloin Stockade in Corsicana.

The guest speaker was John Kaiser, Executive Director of the Warehouse Living Arts Center Theater and Gallery (WLAC) located in historic downtown Corsicana at 119 W. 6th Ave. John Kaiser was born in California; moved to Mildred at an early age, where he spent his first few years of school; attended high school in Colorado a couple of years, where he discovered acting; and graduated from Corsicana High School in 1995. Kaiser was first involved with WLAC in 1995 when he was cast as Peewee Drummond in the musical, Meet Me in St. Louis. He is in his fifth year as Executive Director.

WLAC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which is a vehicle for the education in the production and development of the performing and creative arts which started over 50 years ago.
