Graveside services for Nancy Deanna Haynes, 81, will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Trickham, TX at Trickham Cemetery, in Coleman County. Chaplain John Carabin will officiate.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Nancy Deanna Haynes, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022 at her home in Donie, Texas.

Nancy Deanna Qualls Haynes was born in Cisco, Texas, on April 16, 1940 to Charles Jasper and Mary Loraine Qualls. Nancy grew up in Cisco with her parents and three brothers. She loved spending time with her grandmother and enjoyed baking cookies with her and learning how to sew. She loved sewing and made many of her own clothes and was an excellent seamstress and made lots of things for her children and grandchildren.

Nancy graduated from Cisco High School in 1958. She attended Cisco Junior College where she met the love of her life, Jesse. They met when she had a flat tire and Jesse changed it in exchange for a date. They married June 13, 1959.

Nancy worked many years as a church secretary. She worked at the First Presbyterian Church in Coleman and then later the First United Methodist Church in Coleman. Later, when they moved to Fairfield, she worked at the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield for several years.

Nancy is survived by her three daughters: Lorri Wadsworth and husband Tom of Abilene, Texas, Lynne Holloway and husband Roger of Nettleton, Mississippi, Leslie Cockerham and husband Mike of Teague, Texas, two brothers Bob Qualls and wife Pat of Eastland, Texas, and Ron Qualls and wife Barbara of Georgetown, Texas, a sister-in-law Gwen Qualls of Bandera, Texas, seven grandchildren Jennifer Sullivan and husband Rusty, Lauren Wadsworth, Robin Wadsworth, Ben Wadsworth and wife Taylor, Stephanie Coker, Megan Cockerham, and Wesley Cockerham and wife Joahnen and five precious great-grandchildren Jackson Sullivan, Shelby Sullivan, Ayden Adams, Whitney Wadsworth, and Adyson Wadsworth and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Jasper and Mary Loraine Qualls, her brother, Jack Qualls and her husband, Jesse Haynes.
