Merritt “Little Man” Lane Pierce, 12, passed away August 14, 2016.
He was born April 15, 2004 to Jason and Christy Pierce.
Visitation was held Saturday, August 27, 2016; followed by Funeral service at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at Antioch Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Justin Freels (June Bug), Michael Wall (Buzzard), QuinnTucker (Cawdawg), Wendell Allen (Cowboy), Bobby Watson, and Michael DeFrance. Honorary pallbearers were David Watson (SuperDave), Tyler Watson (Cowpoke).
He is preceded in death by his grandfather John DeFrance.
Merritt is survived by his parents, Jason and Christy Pierce; brother, Caiden; sister, Jaidyn; Grandmother, Helen DeFrance; Grandparents, Tom (PawPaw) and Liz Pierce; Great grandmothers, Florene Hendrix and Margaret Pierce; and God parents Michael and Megan DeFrance.
