Just two weeks before Fairfield’s Annual Peach Festival, held July 14th & 15th on the courthouse square.
The Chamber is still accepting vendors for this event.
The Festival will include a kids zone set up with water slides and slip-n-slides, a petting zoo, and more.
Enter the Little Miss Peach pageant, take off for the Warrior Fun Run (click here to sign up early), or risk a brain freeze for the Peach Ice Cream eating contest.
Little Miss Peach is for kids ages 3 – 10 years. Entry forms are due during a mandatory meeting July 6th at 6:30 p.m. at the courthouse steps. For questions, call Gail Farish at 903-389-5990 or 903-388-4120.
The Peach Festival will include live music and street dance, cornhole tournament (click here to sign up online), and a fun run.
Fairfield shops will be open on Friday for late night shopping. Armadillo Emporium and Accessories, Etc. will be open until 7:00 p.m.; staying open until 8:00 p.m. will be Kennedy’s Korner & East Pine Design, Dessert by MommaCakes, Brenda’s Closet and The Jaded Spade, and Kountry Klutter & 4P Jewelry.
Bring your pocketbook on Saturday for the popular Peach Stroll from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with refreshments and special sales at local retailers. Participating small businesses include: Accessories, Etc.; Armadillo Emporium, Brenda’s Closet, Dessert By MommaCakes, Fairfield Western Wear, Hope & Co., Kennedy’s Korner & East Pine Design, Kountry Klutter & 4P Jewelry, Pack N Mail, Southern Bound, and Tallulah Rey.
Vendors are free for this event. And, anyone that would like to set up a booth with any type of games would be welcome.
