The descendants of J.R. and Susie Beasley/Brice and Nancy Knight met for the annual family reunion. Twenty-eight members and guests met at Freestone Community Center to celebrate, reminisce, remember family members who are no longer here, and enjoy visiting with each other. Dean Nevills, at 93 years old, was the oldest family member attending. Matheo Olvera (4 months old) was the youngest. Although the number of family members attending was low, all enjoyed the food and fellowship as well as the awarding of door prizes. Family members are encouraged to mark their calendars for next year’s reunion, which will be held the first Sunday in June 2023 at the Freestone Community Center in Freestone, Texas.
