Madolyn Ruth Jones, 77, of Fairfield, left her earthly home for her eternal home with her savior Jesus, on Monday, March 7, 2022 peacefully at her home. Ruth had many pleasures in life, but none as important as spending time with Jesus, her sweet husband F. E., and her puppy Jo-Jo.

Ruth was born in Houston, Texas on September 14, 1944. She enjoyed her youth in Houston, East Texas and Louisiana and spent most of her life there. Ruth moved to Fairfield in early 2020 to be closer to her daughter. She met, was courted by, and married F. E. Jones on May 15, 2021 and they made their home in Fairfield.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, F.E. Jones; a daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Robbie Bone; a stepdaughter, Lisa Whiteside; a step-son, Ronald Jones, granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Angel and Phil Sims; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Meagan and Jeff King; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jose’ and Amber Gallegos; great-granddaughter Addison; great-grandsons, Phillip Jr., Jaxon, Kensler and Asher.

Preceding her to Heaven are her parents, Lawrence and Margaret Bradley, her sister, Marsha Patterson; her brother, Lawrence Bradley Jr.; and her nephew Charles Wilson.

Services were held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Capps Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Skinner officiating. Interment followed at Fairfield Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jose Gallegos, Robbie Bone, Ronald Jones, Christopher Whiteside, Adam Keltner and Geoff Marshall.

Honorary pallbearers were Phillip Sims, Jr., Jaxon Sims, Kensler Gallegos, Carson Whiteside, Justin Neal and Warren Neal.
