Members and friends of Let’s Travel had a wonderful experience Tuesday, March 10, as they traveled to Marble Falls to visit the Beloved Gallery. This gallery must be very special in order for over 45 people to travel all the way to Marble Falls from our area. The gallery is very special.

WELCOMING THE GROUP as they arrived at the Beloved Gallery was Chief Brand Officer, Alaina Sevills-Wood. (Submitted Photo)
The Beloved Gallery houses the works of Akiane Kramarek from ages 8-16. The exhibit is titled, Akiane, the Early Years. Twelve of this young artist’s works are hung in the gallery. The one special painting that is drawing so much attention nationwide is her Prince of Peace. This is a painting of the face of Jesus as Akiane saw it repeatedly in her dreams. Akiane painted the Prince of Peace when she was 8 years old. The story of this young master artist can be found at Akiane.com on your computer or other device. Her story is well worth reading.
The Prince of Peace was first brought to the attention of many readers as they read the book Heaven is for Real. In this book the young boy who had experienced heaven and had sat on the lap of Jesus stated that the face in Prince of Peace was the face of Jesus he saw in heaven.
Many of the travelers enjoyed watching the video How Jesus Saved His Own Portrait on YouTube before the trip. The video shares an amazing story of the young artist and her special painting.
In addition to the Beloved Gallery, there is the Beloved Café where visitors can enjoy a usually quiet area to reflect on the experience of viewing this masterpiece along with a cup of coffee or a light lunch. The employees of both the gallery and the café are very respectful and knowledgeable of the space they oversee.
The visit to Marble Falls included one more special treat. The travelers enjoyed participating in “Pie Happy Hour” at the historic Bluebonnet Café before leaving town.
