It’s finally here!

This Saturday, May 6th, downtown Fairfield will be taken over by 32 small business startups in the form of Lemonade Stands.

Lemonade Day is an annual event that marks the culmination of a program for the youth of our community to experience the joy of entrepreneurship.

These kiddos have been working hard the last several months, designing and building their stands, testing and perfecting their product, and working with the local newspapers and radio stations to market their business.

In addition to learning about creating a budget and maximizing profits, these young entrepreneurs have also been encouraged to earmark a portion of their sales to donate money back into the community.

We hope you will make plans to come out on Saturday to support our local Youth Entrepreneurs!

Twenty-six lemonade stands will be set up at the Freestone County Courthouse Square.

One each may be found at the following locations:

–Cooper Farms Country Store

–Tractor Supply

–Kennedy’s Korner

–Family Dollar

–City Park

–106 S. Mount St.
