Hang your stocking, trim the tree…and then bring your family and friends to come share in a magical, musical evening sure to capture the Hope, Peace, Joy and Love of the Christmas holiday season!
The Lakeside United Methodist Church’s Chancel Choir with narrator Frank Macalik and Director Janet Martin will perform “The First Noel: Celebrating the Birthday of a King!” on Sunday, December 15th, at 6:30 p.m.
This 40-minute Christmas celebration, arranged and orchestrated by Russell Mauldin, is filled with classic carols, hymns and favorite Christmas songs of the season such as “The Birthday of a King”, “The First Noel,” “Light of the Stable with Angels We Have Heard on High”, “For unto Us a Child Is Born” and “Jesus at the Center”.
“The choir sounds amazing!” said Music Director Janet Martin. All will be blessed when they hear this joyous and moving celebration of the birth of our King!”
Please bring an item or two for Lakeside’s Food Bank ministry as your admission and plan to stay after the concert for light refreshments in Lakeside’s new fellowship hall.
