Teague’s Own in Texas Roundup
Competing in the 19th Annual Texas Roundup All-Star Game on Saturday, March 17th is Teague Lady Lion basketball senior KaDaja Nickleberry.
The day was enjoyed by fans from all over the state beginning with a luncheon with Dale Hanson being the keynote speaker. Dale offered great entertainment and words of wisdom in front of a huge crowd.
Kadaja’s team came away with a 91 – 78 win she scored 6 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals.
Academic All-Star Game
Averaging nearly 10 points per game, Teague senior guard, Cady Drake, was a big threat from downtown.
Devine Sports & Mentorship Inc. is hosting its Annual HOT Academic Basketball All-Star Game in Waco on April 7th.
Drake has been selected to play, and will be the first lady lion to participate in the game.
The game will be played at Waco Midway High School at 3:30 p.m.. Cady was 1st Team all-district selection and played a big role in the lady lions 30 -3 season.
Azalea All-Star Game
Two Teague Lady Lions Basketball Seniors, KaDaja Nickleberry (left) and Kennedy Bennett (right), have been selected to play in the 15th Annual Azalea Orthopedics All-Star game.
The game will be held on April 14th at 5:30 on the campus of Tyler Junior College at Wagstaff Gym.
In addition to the girls being selected to play Coach Nickleberry has been selected to coach the West team.
