Wortham beat Hubbard in the three sets: 25-18, 25-14, and 25-9.

“Wortham took charge of set one with an early lead and continued to stay on top despite Hubbard having an eleven point streak at Wortham’s set point,” says Coach DeAnna Whaley. “I just think the girls relaxed once they reached the match set and let Hubbard have a chance to score several points. Wortham came back strong in the next two sets to win the match.”

She continues, “We did a great job serving and moving the serve to certain positions. Our offense continues to be strong because of our passing and my girls just really came out strong to take the win.”
