The first Kindness From Case Belt Buckle was awarded to a Travis Fox of Teague FFA, who exhibited hogs at the 2019 Freestone County Livestock Show.

A surprised Travis accepts the buckle from Olivia Robinson as her dad, George Robinson applauds.

This award is based on the character of the showman.

“Travis has been one of the first to show up at the fairgrounds every morning ready to work and usually catching a ride home about midnight every day,” said presenters.

This young man was observed helping kids in all breeds wash and feed their animals. “He has helped them get ready all the way to the point they walk into the show ring.”

Board members of Kindness from Case hope to present a buckle for in each category next year to help encourage camaraderie and sportsmanship in the show ring.

“Congratulations and thank you to all of the exhibitors, fair board members, and volunteers on their hard work!”
