Kay Lansford Ray, 89, passed away in her home on April 13, 2024, with her family by her side.

Kay was born on November 3, 1934, to doting parents, Guy & Johnnie Lansford.

To those who loved her most, she was Mom, Grandmamá, Grandmother, Kate, or simply Kay.

She loved her family and had a way of making each one feel as though they were her favorite. Kay had a wonderful sense of humor, at times only understood by those closest to her.

She hated balloons, loved a good margarita, and always lived with style, beauty, strength, and grace. “Pretty is as pretty does,” she would say.

Kay goes on to join her parents, Guy & Johnnie Lansford; husband, Charles Ray; sister, Zoe Cofer; grandson, Grant Rash.

She leaves behind her daughters, Terri Ray & Jill Rash; grandchildren, Nicole Hughes, Marlon Cockerell, Lauren Hable, Paige Tallon, Keaton Ray, Zoey Ray; great grandchildren, Olivia Carlisle, Avi Grace Hughes, Cameron, Landon & Faith Cockerell, Elle Hable and Jayce Tallon; niece Jann London; nephew, Kelly Cofer; son-in-law, Gene Rash.

A private service was held at Richland Cemetery on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
