Karyn Elaine Taylor Richards passed peacefully from our world on August 3, 2022, at her home in Hewitt, Texas.
Karyn is survived by her husband, Jerry; her three children, Traci, David, and J.W.; and her grandchildren, Kassi, Kasen, Alex, Payton, David Jr., Jackson, Brady, and Elliott. Additionally, Karyn is survived by her sisters, Kay Taylor and Kris Ivy. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kolton, her mother Bobbee Dee, and father Bobby Jack.
Karyn was born in Teague, Texas on June 16, 1950. Karyn and Jerry were married August 21, 1976, and lived in Fairfield and Steward’s Mill most of her life. She was a member of the Steward’s Mill Church congregation.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Capps Funeral Home in Fairfield, Texas. With Bro. Robert Shipley and Bro. David Filis officiating. Pallbearers were David Lee Carroll, J.W. Richards IV, David Lee Carroll, Jr. Jackson Carroll, Kasen Russellburg, Brady Richards and Elliott Richards.
