Mark it on your calendars, the Teague Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Celebration will be on Thursday, July 2, 2020 starting with a parade leading the way to the historic Teague Hotel and more festivities.
You want to be in the Parade, show up at Teague Elementary at 5:30 p.m. someone will be available to help everyone line up.
Bring a truck and a float, ride your motorcycle, or 4 wheeler (licensed adults only please and thank you!) to show your Independence Day pride and excitement.
The parade starts at 6:00 p.m. and ends at the Teague Hotel, where there are more festivities waiting for you.
The members of the Teague Chamber of Commerce will be on hand serving up Hamburger Plates ($8) and Hot Dog Plates ($5), each complete with a bag of chips and a water.
They will be cooking up these delicious treats until they run out of supplies and can sell no more.
While hanging out on the slab, make sure you join in on some of the fun and excitement going on all around you.
Activities include a varied field such as:
–Most musical live music for your ears
–Finest of the Best Dressed Cowboys/Cowgirls showing off their finery
–Fastest Stick Horse Barrel Racing you ever witnessed
–Tuggingest Goat Ribbon Pulling that was ever tugged
Yes, tuggingest is not a word, but it works.
Overall, a very celebratory Independence Day Celebration full of festive fun, for everyone to enjoy.
