Wortham ISD is pleased to announce that we will begin using the Verkada Guest/Visitor Management System on all campuses.
This system will strengthen our campus safety efforts for both students and staff.
The system utilizes an iPad kiosk for self-check-in and instant photo badge printing. All visitors will be screened against national sex offender and criminal databases.
Upon arrival, visitors will be asked to present a valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license. When leaving the building, visitors must return their badge and sign out at the front office.
Reminder, guests must be escorted to and from their destination.
If you are only dropping off or picking up a child from the office, a visitor badge is not required; however, you will still need to present a valid photo ID.
