Next month will provide the youth of Freestone County an opportunity to brush up on their skills before hunting season begins in the Fall.
Freestone County Game Management Association (FCGMA) is sponsoring a Hunter Ed Course on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Twisted Vines Event Center in Fairfield, Texas.
Lunch will be provided by Specialty Risk Insurance. Operation Game Their Trailer will be on display.
The course will take place that day from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Hunter Ed Course is designed for ages 9 and up.
FCGMA will pay for the course for any Freestone County kids ages 16 and under.
All others will pay $15 for the course.
