The Heart of Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes will kick off Super Centex Victory Bowl week on Wednesday, May 27th.
85 football players, 24 volleyball players, 20 cheerleaders, 36 baseball players, 30 softball players 32 basketball players, nearly 50 band members and 35 area coaches make up this year’s 18th annual event serving 100 Central Texas high schools.
Participating from Freestone County include:
–Football: Brayden Thornburg (FHS), Mason Edwards (FHS), and Jacob Matthews (THS)
–Baseball: Gustavo Aguilera (FHS)
–Volleyball: Avery Strait (FHS), Kameryn Thompson (THS), and Miley Steen (THS)
–Basketball: Kaylee Williams (FHS) and Madden McElroy (FHS)
Tickets for volleyball, baseball, softball & basketball games are $5. For football, they are $5 (students), $10 (adults) and will be sold on game day.
The basketball games will be played on Thursday, 5:00 PM girl’s games, 6:30 PM boy’s games at Fairfield High School.
Baseball and softball will be played on Friday at 6:30 pm at UMHB, gates will open at 5:00 pm.
The volleyball game will be played on Saturday at 2:30 pm at University High School, doors will open at 1:00 pm.
The football game will be played on Saturday at 10:00 am at Waco ISD Stadium, gates will open at 9:00 am.
Game programs and merchandise will be available for purchase. All proceeds go to support the local FCA Ministry. All of the community is welcome and encouraged to come support these local athletes.
