Veterans Remembrance Park of Teague accepted a $2,500 donation from Amy Evans and sons Aaron (presenting check) and Brandt (not pictured).

According to Evans, owner of East Pine Designs, her oldest son Aaron came up with the idea of a Fourth of July themed t-shirt for her popular FREECO brand.

The money raised was donated to the Remembrance Park on Thursday, July 5th.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the Park are Charles Day (left), President of the Park’s Board of Directors and Fonzell Nealy, Sr. (right), Veterans Service Officer for Freestone County.

The donation will go towards upkeep and additions to the Park.
