Great North American Solar Eclipse…is coming to Fairfield!

Join the City of Fairfield on Monday, April 8, 2024 for a Solar Eclipse Watch Party.

Bring your telescopes, chairs and blankets to the W.L. Moody fairgrounds at 839 E. Commerce Street in Fairfield, Texas.

Eclipse glasses will be available, first come first serve.

Face painting will be available for the kids, and food trucks on site to enjoy.

Check out all the Science Projects in the Green Barn Civic Center.

Students from 4th thru 8th grade are invited to enter the City of Fairfield’s Solar Eclipse Project.

This project can be over eclipses in general.

Completed projects must be dropped off at the Green Barn in Fairfield from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7th.

At stake will be three top prizes: $500 for 1st Place, $250 for 2nd Place, and $100 for 3rd Place.

Winners will be announced on April 8th!
