The new lobby is officially open at the Community Food Bank in Fairfield, Texas.

Their Grand Opening event, held Saturday, August 22, 2020 included a Ribbon Cutting with Fairfield Chamber of Commerce (above), a community lunch, and tour of the facility.

Pastor Robert Smith (holding scissors) and his wife, Lissa (holding plaque) welcomed chamber members, volunteers, and local supporters to the celebration.

The new lobby will provide the organization a meeting area and resource center for client families, volunteers, and others.

The lobby also includes a special area for kids, the Kindness From Case Korner.

Sponsored by The Kindness From Case Memorial Foundation, the area contains books, educational toys, and posters encouraging kindness.

Having a bit of fun during their grand opening are the administrators, volunteers and supporters of Fairfield’s Community Food Pantry.
