Fairfield Eagle Ag Mechanics team (at top) received a Blue Ribbon and ultimately earned Fourth Place out of fourteen entries in their class at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo this past weekend with their custom-built truck bed.

On the team are (R-L) River Bonds (build is for his dad), Adan Espinoza, Blake Phillips, and Collin Glass, with their Ag Mechanics Teacher Clay Sherman.

Congratulations to these hard-working young men.

Showing off their hard work of restoring this 1951 John Deere Model B Tractor are members of the Teague FFA.

The team, consisting of Grayson Holcomb, Rhett Hagen, Zain Fitzgerald, James Barrentine, Reid Rogers, and Brolen White, with advisor Ed Strange, took great care at restoring this tractor, owned by Malcom Coleman of Elk, Texas.

They showed their work at the Houston Rodeo. Unfortunately, the team did not place as there was some pretty tough competition.

Upon seeing the finished restoration, Mr. Coleman began to tear up because of how proud he was of how well it turned out.

Congratulations to the boys and their hard work.

They will be showing it at the Freestone County Fair in June. Be sure to check it out.
