April 19: At approx. 7:30pm tonight an XTO gas tank exploded on CR 601. XTO had a crew on location and an XTO safety crew was called in as well. No one was hurt and the fire was contained.
April 19: The Freestone County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from Teague PD Officer Morgan, Officer Tieman, and K9 Officer Zelda, completed a security check of the Courthouse grounds and the county jail tonight. Courthouse security cameras were checked to be in good working order earlier in the day, and all was found safe, secure, and narcotic free tonight.
We want to thank Teague PD for their assistance and for sharing K9 Officer Zelda with us in order to ensure we had a complete and thorough safety and security check. safety and security check.

It’s a day that is used for raising awareness of pollution and for conservation and world preservation.
