Throughout the morning of Thursday, February 29, 2024, a search warrant was conducted in Limestone County involving the theft of approximately $300,000 worth of copper and material stolen from Leon County and Freestone County areas.

This has been an approximately 2-week investigation where both counties collectively worked together and shared information and evidence that was collected in order to successfully conclude this theft case with a positive closure.

The search warrant investigation that consisted of Leon, Freestone, and Limestone Counties, led to further evidence and further identification of all the suspects involved.

The following individuals were arrested and transported to the Leon County Jail on the following charges at the conclusion of the search warrant investigation:

-Samuel Barrow Jr: 1) THEFT of PROP>=$150K to 300K, 2) ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

-Cristian Barrow: 1) THEFT of PROP>=$150K to 300K, 2) ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

These same charges on the stated arrested individuals, plus further charges and warrants for 3 more individuals, totaling 6 more charges of THEFT of PROP>=$150K to 300K and ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY will be issued upon completion of the Freestone County theft case. These same suspects will be, or are also, wanted out of Leon County for the same charges and warrants.

Awesome collaboration between neighboring counties – Leon County, Limestone County, Freestone County – for a successful conclusion to a large theft ring.

Special shout-out to Investigator McGhee from Leon County for his tenacity in leading this overall investigation and seeing that all avenues were being covered for all counties.

Good work by FCSO Deputies Darby and McAdams.
