A man from Humble stole a car in Conroe that belonged to a man in Colorado…… of course that’s how this story begins…… and, just like an info commercial, “but wait that’s not all”……

Last night Deputies were dispatched to a suspicious person call located on FM 1848. The unknown suspicious male was going up to homes and property talking nonsense -also known as lies- making homeowners feel uneasy. When Deputies arrived they learned that the male subject had the great unfortunate luck of getting his vehicle stuck on a piece of property that he shouldn’t have been on in the first place. After a brief investigation it was determined that “his” vehicle was not “his” vehicle at all. The vehicle that the male subject-now turned suspect- was operating was actually confirmed stolen out of Conroe, Tx. As the investigation continued, the male suspect was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and more then 10 different credit cards and Debit cards that did not belong to him.

The male suspect was then placed under arrest where he would don the beautiful sterling silver cuffs he’d wear the remainder of his new year’s celebration.

The male suspect was booked into the Freestone County Jail and charged with the following:

1) Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
State Jail Felony

2) Fraudulent Use/Possession of
Credit/Debit cards — 2nd Degree Felony

3) Possession of Controlled Substance
PG 1 < 1g — State Jail Felony

One of the worst things you can do as a criminal is get methed up in the mud.

It’s definitely going to leave this guy a muddy meth to begin 2024.

Good work by our FCSO and good call in by our county residents and helping remove this person from our streets.
