WOW!! ~ The first thing that comes to my mind as Sheriff in describing the Commissioner’s decision in the pay increases for our Dispatchers. They stepped up to the plate and really delivered for one of the most important positions in this county during a time of despair.

–Commissioner Pct. 4 – Clyde Ridge

–Commissioner Pct. 3 – Lloyd Lane

–Commissioner Pct. 2 – Will McSwane

–Commissioner Pct. 1 – Andy Bonner

THANK YOU on behalf of the FCSO.

The decision that was made today provides our Dispatch a new starting salary of $34,000 a year (Was 30k) and provided a raise to 3 current Dispatchers to $38,000 a year which means all current Dispatchers with the FCSO are making $38k+ moving forward. They have worked shorthanded, they have had to work on days off, and they have been feeling the stress and the pressure for over a year because of all of it, but today our Commissioners responded to their needs by increasing salaries to assist in bringing in new hires and providing for our current employees.

The FCSO has 3 open positions in our Dispatch Division that we are currently hiring for. If you are interested in applying to be a Dispatcher with the FCSO, you can pick up an application in our main lobby at 103 S. Keechi St., Fairfield, Tx, 75840.

Starting Salary – $34,000

+ Accrued Sick Time, Holiday Time, Vacation, and paid Employee Insurance.

This decision made for our Dispatch here in Freestone County is as important to the citizens of this county as it is to the employees themselves. Thank you, Commissioners for recognizing the importance of Dispatch and assisting in the safety of our citizens county wide.
