On 2/7/2023, the FCSO learned that two female inmates inside the FCSO Jail, were coordinating with each other, along with a male individual out in the free world, to smuggle illegal contraband into the jail facility. After a fairly quick and easy investigation, warrants for the three individuals were obtained.

The two female subjects that were already incarcerated due to drugs, were now being charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity-(F2) as an added charge to their stay. That’s like enjoying your all-inclusive resort stay so much you take out a loan to extend your vacation. The search then turned to the male subject who was inevitably enjoying his last fresh air for a little bit, unbeknownst to him.

On 2/11/2023, Lt. Willis, Sgt. Martin, Deputies Darby, Hill, and Leatherman, along with Constable McGowan, executed the felony warrants on the male subject involved that was located at a local hotel. And, just like on Oprah, we were giving out more prizes…

At the time the subject was taken into custody, the subject was found to be in possession of of approximately 57 grams of methamphetamine, individually packaged to be sold.

The male accomplice was charged with the following:

–Warrant: Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity—F2

–Warrant: Prohibited Substance in Correctional Facility—F3

–Manufacturing/Delivery Controlled Substance PG 1 over 4 grams less than 200 grams— F1

And… I know, it’s never ending…Not to be left out of the excitement, another male subject, during the execution of the felony warrant, was also found to be in possession of over 1 gram of methamphetamine and was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 more then 1 gram less then 4 grams—F3

That was a lot. Hope you got all that. If not, don’t worry. We got it and we got them. Good work by the good guys.
