On 9/8/2022, the FCSO assisted the Freestone County District Attorney’s Office and Pct. 3 Constable’s Office with executing a search warrant on the northeast side of Fairfield. While executing the search warrant, a male subject was found to be in possession of over 10 grams of methamphetamine that was packaged in individual bags. The male subject was arrested by the FCSO on a charge unrelated to the search warrant of Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1 >4g <200g (First Degree Felony).

The Search Warrant lead to the evidentiary discovery of the District Attorney’s Office investigation into a felony theft. The female suspect has since turned herself in on the felony theft charge regarding this case.

Three nights ago, on 9/12/2022, FCSO Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 930. While the vehicle was pulling over, a female subject jumped out of the moving vehicle and tried to flee on foot. A Deputy was able to catch the fleeing female subject and detain her. During the course of the investigation the Driver was found to not have a valid drivers license nor vehicle insurance and was in possession of multiple different forms of identifying information, such as passports, drivers license, and credit/debit cards belonging to other individuals. The driver was also found to be in possession of prescription medications that did not belong to her or the passenger, as well as, a stolen firearm out of Limestone County.

The female subject that attempted to run away, was found to be in possession of marijuana and was caught stuffing a bag of methamphetamine in the back seat of the patrol vehicle. Furthermore, she provided a fake name and date of birth. Further investigation allowed Deputies to learn her real identity and, low and behold, wouldn’t you know she came back wanted on 3 warrants out of Limestone County and 1 warrant out of McLennan County. Obviously, it wasn’t that she was good at running, she was just used to running.

You think the story is over, but it’s not…

As the Deputies were completing their paperwork, jail staff advised that the female driver was caught with more methamphetamine during the book-in process.

This was definitely a methed up attempt of try to stuff meth here, and stuff meth there, and stuffing meth everywhere. They literally methed up every time they tried.

Great work and observations by our Deputies and our Jailers. They, unlike our arrested subjects, weren’t mething around.

The driver has been charged with following:

–Possession of Controlled Substance Pg 1 <1 g (State Jail Felony)

–Unlawful Use or Possession of Identifying Information >5 items (3rd degree Felony)

–Theft of Firearm (3rd degree Felony)

–Prohibited Substance in Correctional facility (3rd degree Felony)

–Possession Dangerous drug (Class A Misdemeanor)

The passenger has been charged with the following:

–Possession of Controlled Substance Pg 1 <1 g (State Jail Felony)

–3 Felony Warrants – Limestone County

–1 Felony Warrant – McLennan County

Further charges could be added upon completion of this case and speaking with other agencies…So it’s possible this story is still not over.
