GIRLS:
Fairfield Girls Powerlifting team took First Place (43 points) out of 21 schools in Region 3 Class 3A Large School on March 3, 2023. Seventeen of their athletes competed in the Regional Meet in Eustace.
The Teague Powerlifting team took 8th place at Region with 8 points. Eleven of their athletes competed.

–Donna Munoz – Fairfield (wt. class 198 lbs)
–Kalli Richardson – Fairfield (wt. class 220 lbs)
–Ty’ariah Mims – Teague (wt. class 259 lbs)
–Destiny Dowell – Fairfield (wt. class 259+ lbs)
Wortham Girls Powerlifting team took 13th Place (5 points) out of 30 schools in Region 3 Class 1A-2A. Five of their athletes competed in the Regional Meet in Eustace held February 21, 2023.
Qualifying for State is:
–Shelby Reasoner – Wortham (wt. class 114 lbs)
The Girls State Powerlifting Meet is being held this week in Frisco, Texas.

Fairfield Boys Powerlifting team took First Place ( points) out of 29 schools in Region 2 Division 3 West on March 11, 2023. Thirty-five of their athletes competed in the Regional Meet in West.
