Kick off the 2016 fall season by experiencing Trinity Star Arts Council’s unique annual Fall Arts Fest on Saturday, October 1.
What began several years ago as an evening to celebrate jazz and art has evolved into a full day of family-oriented festivities including live music, art exhibits and food vendors.  The event will feature readings from “Hank the Cowdog” by author John R. Erickson, along with many other exciting children’s activities.  Tin Top Road Bluegrass Band, C.S.O. Lite, Aggie Wranglers, Le Theatre de Marionette, Freestone Critters by FISD students, singers, balloon twisters, face-painters, local cuisine and the crowning of Scarecrow Royalty all make this a “must-do day!”
The free event will be held on the courthouse square in Fairfield and is sponsored by Trinity Star Arts Council, whose mission is to present The Arts through education and participation in our community.  Major funding is provided by the City of Fairfield and Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA.)  Other sponsors include Community National Bank, Farmers State Bank, Freestone Chrysler Dodge Jeep/Lone Star Chevrolet, Stan Waldrip and Incommons Bank.  For more information, visit www.trinitystarartscouncil.org.
