Fairfield ISD voted to begin searching for a Superintendent once more during the recent School Board meeting held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.
Two years ago, the School District was left without a superintendent when Richard Edwards resigned from the post in August of 2016.
At that time, Deputy Superintendent Melissa Cox stepped into the role until Tony Price was made Interim Superintendent in the early part of 2017.
During Price’s interim, the School Board completed a round of the application process and was unsuccessful in finding the perfect candidate.
Price remains as Interim Superintendent, for the time being, while the School Board attempts the hiring process once more.
The “Times” will keep you up-to-date as the search continues.
