Construction is underway at Fairfield Elementary. Bond improvements include a new secure vestibule at the front entrance and new awnings at the front of the building and east side to improve the car-rider pickup area.
These projects are expected to be completed before the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
To prepare for construction of the new High School, Fairfield ISD Central Administration is relocating to the CTE Building located at 961 E. Commerce St.
District staff began moving last week, with all offices expected to be fully relocated by June 15.
The move will allow site work for the new High School to begin in early July.
The goal remains to open the new campus in August 2028.
