FCA holds banquet and will honor all stars.

 

The Heart of Texas’ Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be holding their 16th annual Victory Banquet on Sunday, April 21st at 5:00 PM at Baylor Ferrell Center.  Players, cheerleaders, and coaches in the 2024 Victory Bowl will be honored, and there will be a time to spotlight the Heart of Texas FCA ministry.

This year’s banquet will feature keynote Bryce Petty, a standout athlete and graduate of Midlothian High School, Bryce went on to lead the Baylor Bears as a 2 year starter winning back to back Big 12 Championships and finishing in the top 10 of the Heisman race both years.  Petty was drafted by the Jets in the 4th round and played three seasons in the NFL

The FCA Super Centex Victory Bowl Week will go from May 28th to June 1, 2024. The basketball games will take place on Wednesday the 29th in Fairfield.  The girls basketball games will be at 5:00 PM and the boys basketball games will be at 6:30 PM.  The baseball and softball games will take place on Friday, May 31st at UMHB at 6:30 pm. Football and Volleyball will take place on Saturday, June 1st. The 11th Annual Volleyball Match will be at University High School beginning at 3 PM. The Football Game will be at Waco ISD Stadium with kickoff at 10:00 AM. Players and cheerleaders will arrive on May 29th, 2024 for practice. Each participant will stay at the home of a host family throughout the city of Fairfield, Belton and Waco. In addition to practices and team fellowship, members of each team will participate in service projects. More information on these and other upcoming events will follow.

May 29th – 3rd Annual FCA Basketball Games at TBD (5:00 PM girls games) (7:00 PM boys games)

May 31st – 9th Annual FCA Victory Bowl Baseball and Softball Games (6:30pm UMHB)

June1st  – 11th Annual Volleyball Match (3:00pm University HS)

– 16th Annual  FCA Victory Bowl Football Game (10:00 am Waco ISD Stadium)
