The Freestone County Retired Teachers Association welcomed the 2026 recipients of the FCRTA Scholarships recently awarded to these graduated seniors at their bi-monthly meeting on June 4, 2026.
Recipients are Josue Rodriguez of Wortham HS; Leonardo Morales of Teague HS; and Blake Phillips of Fairfield HS.
FCRTA now proudly awards a $500.00 scholarship to one graduating senior from each of the three high schools in Freestone County every year.
Anyone can contribute to the FCRTA Scholarship Fund. A donation to the scholarship fund In Memory of, or in Honor of a special teacher, family member or another that cares about our school and our students now or in the past can be a special tribute to that special person.
