East Texas Goat Raisers Association Fall Open Sale

The East Texas Goat Raisers Association will hold The Fall Open Sale on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at the Ike Carden Arena in Fairfield, TX. Freestone County has a wonderful facility with covered pens, and a covered arena. This is an open auction sale and is open to anyone who has goats for sale. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and ends at noon. Sale starts at 1 p.m.
Current ETGRA Members as of Sept 1, 2021will pay a 5% sales commission and non-members will pay 7% on each animal sold and $10 per head fee for any lot passed over (PO’d). New members are always welcome. Applications are available at the office.

ALL BREEDING AGE (1 YEAR OR OLDER) SHEEP & GOATS COMING FROM IN THE STATE MUST HAVE A SCRAPIE TAG or OFFICIAL IDENTIFICATION IN THEIR EAR TO BE SOLD
ALL OUT OF STATE SHEEP & GOATS MUST HAVE A HEALTH CERTIFICATE &
INDIVIDUAL ID TAGS – PREFERABLY SCRAPIE TAGS – IN ORDER TO UNLOAD ON OUR PREMISES AND BE SOLD.
