Fairfield Police Department recognized Officer Joseph Tinsley for Excellence during the May City Council Meeting.
Officer Tinsley was formally recognized for his outstanding professionalism, courage, and dedication to the Fairfield Community.
On March 23, 2026, he demonstrated exceptional judgment and commitment while apprehending a violent suspect involved in vehicle burglaries in the Thousand Oaks addition, helping to recover stolen property and ensuring the safety of our citizens.
“His actions reflect the core values of the Fairfield Police Department and the strong teamwork shared with the Freestone County Sheriff’s Department,” says Chief Albert Gallegos.
