The Library concluded their 2021 Summer Programming, and in August they transitioned over to their weekly Storytime, which is each Wednesday at 10:00 am. The Rangers from the Fairfield Lake State Park hosted Storytime at the Library on August 25th, and they are planning to partner with the Library at least once a month to providing Storytime events. The Rangers will be at the Library again on September 29th, and October 20th. The particular week they are at the library may vary so Library Director, Gary Wiggins, says to watch the Library’s Facebook page and website calendar to keep up with event dates. Each week Storytime consist of a story read aloud, crafts in the community room with snacks and juice provided at no charge.
In addition to the weekly Storytime, the Library is offering Google Workspace tutorials every Tuesday at 4:00 pm, and a Coding Class every Wednesday at 4:00 pm. These classes are free as well. Family Movie Night will be on September 10th at 5:30 pm, and the 2nd Friday every month thereafter. Bingo Night will be Friday evening on September 24th, and on the fourth Friday every month thereafter. All these events are free, and there will be prizes given away at Bingo Night.
