The Fairfield Eagle Choir is a group of students coming together weekly to sing. This is our 5th year. It is led by Mrs. Bossier and Mrs. Johnson, and includes students: Aaryn Morgan, Aiden Hart, Callie Morgan, Deyla Morgan, Jason Salomon, Elizabeth Salomon, MA, and Heidi Bailes. Usually about 20 participate but covid restrictions have limited our size…but not our skill.

While most students are from the Junior High, a few are from FHS and FIS. Some of the songs we sing include Long Time Traveller, originally by the Wailin’ Jennys, and In My Room, by the Beach Boys.

In an attempt to be multicultural, we also sing a few Hebrew songs and one latin song.

We have Fall Choir (Oct.-Dec) and Spring Choir (Feb.-Apr).

We perform for community events including caroling on the square, the Christmas Parade, Deck the Halls, events for TSAC, Spring Concert, etc.

We have a field trip in the spring to a musical.

All are welcome to participate and only need to email the school to get plugged in.

“Choir is surprisingly easy, the hard part is having confidence in your singing ability. Being in the Eagle Choir is really easy, the only time it isn’t is when Mrs. Bossier makes us sing some crazy hard Latin song. All of the members have a great voice but after a while we start to doubt ourselves. Usually, we start to think that we either sound flat or too sharp. However, when we work together we always make it sound good.

In addition, our amazing choir directors know what they are doing so we are always on the right track.”
