Fairfield City Council Looking for Citizen to Serve Term

The City of Fairfield is looking to fill the vacancy of Place 4 on the City Council.
This is the unexpired term left open when former Councilman Jerry Don Sanders resigned several months ago.
Interested citizens are invited to apply by submitting a resume and cover letter as to why they are applying to fill the position.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a registered voter in Freestone County (as of the filing date of the last city election), and have lived in the City of Fairfield 6 months.
Applications must be turned in by 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 22, 2016 to City Secretary Debbie Nesbitt at 222 South Mount Street at Fairfield City Hall.
