The school year is almost at an end, and graduation plans are in the works.

Top students were named at Fairfield High School during last week’s Academic Banquet.

Congratulations to Valedictorian Jonathan Thomas (5.38 GPA) and Salutatorian Elizabeth Rath (5.32 GPA).

Senior Awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 17 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Johnson Activity Center.

Commencement ceremonies will be held at Eagle Field beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023.

Last day of school for FISD students will be May 24th.

Top students were announced at Teague High School last week, as well.

Congratulations to Valedictorian Leslie Vaughn (104.36 GPA) and Salutatorian Anthony J. Dimiceli (104.35 GPA).

Senior Awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 16 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the THS Auditorium.

Commencement ceremonies will be held at Lions Stadium beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023.

Last day of school for TISD students will be May 19th.

Grades are being calculated this week for Wortham High School, and top students are expected to be announced by the end of the week.

Baccalaureate will be held for graduating seniors on Sunday, May 14th beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. Senior Scholarship

Reception will be held Monday, May 15th beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Café.

Commencement ceremonies will be held in the New Gym beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023.

Last day of school for WISD students will be May 18th.

For Dew Elementary and Junior High School, Tuesday, May 23rd will host Kindergarten Graduation at 10:00 a.m., Awards (PreK thru 3rd grade) beginning at 1:00 p.m., Awards (4th thru 8th grade) beginning at 2:00 p.m., and 8th Grade Graduation at 6:00 p.m.

Last day of school for DISD students will be May 24th.

Faith Academy of Freestone will enjoy their last day of school on May 24th.
