Encouraging Economy in Small Town Fairfield: EDC Name “Business” of the Month

Fairfield Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) is the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for June.

FEDC is a not for profit organization focused on the promotion, development, and enhancement of economic development opportunities in Fairfield, Texas.

Funding is provided by .5% sales tax money from local sales in Fairfield, Texas.

With an economic strategy that is to promote jobs, they focus on companies that sell a majority of products outside of the local region.

Local companies are helped by FEDC in a variety of ways, like incentives for job retention, job creation, and more.
