Early Voting opens Tuesday, February 20, 2024 for the Republican and Democratic Primary Elections.

Poll locations during Early Voting February 20-25, 2024 will be held in the Fairfield Conference Center and at Teague City Council.

Primary Election Day will be held March 5, 2024.

Only one race has developed at the County level, that of Constable – Pct. 2 in the Republican primary. Incumbent Dan Ramsey will face off against Jake Fitch.

Also on the ballot for Freestone County will be 77th District Judge County Sheriff, County Attorney, Tax Assessor-Collector, County Commissioners, Justice of the Peace, and Constables.

State offices that will appear on the ballot in Texas include 15 State Senators, all 150 State Representatives (including our District 13), and Chief Justice of Courts of Appeals.

Texas voters will also choose a U.S. Senator, all 38 U.S. Representatives (including District 6 and District 17), Railroad Commissioner, 3 members of the Texas Supreme Court, 3 members of the Texas Court of Appeals, and 7 members of the State Board of Education.

This is also a Presidential election year.

Election workers are needed this year.

This will be a busy year for Elections.

Primary Elections will be held March 5th with Early Voting starting February 20th.

If needed, Primary Runoffs will be May 28th with Early Voting starting May 20th.

City and School Elections are scheduled for May 4th with Early Voting starting April 22nd.

This year’s General Election will include selection of a new President. Election Day is November 5th with Early Voting starting October 21st.

Election workers will be needed for each Election at each polling location.

This is a paid position, and training is provided.
