Numerous schools competed, including: Fairfield, Corsicana, Cayuga, Malakoff, Kerens, Palestine Westwood, and Van.

The box of lights is the center of focus as soon as a lift is completed. Each of three judges is represented here in both the white lights and red lights. All 3 white lights are lit up, indicating a successful lift. Only two white lights are also considered a good lift and allow the athlete to advance.

Out of the one hundred and twenty-one lifters, there were 70 Eagles and 51 Lady Eagles.

Fairfield Athletes, that were not competing, supported their school by volunteering during the meet. These students helped out in the following duties: spotting the lifters, cleaning the bar (pictured here), helping the lifters with suits & support gear, and acting as host to the judges and table workers.

The Darrell Piske Memorial Meet was held at Fairfield High School on February 4, 2021.  Three schools participated in the event, including the host and both Malakoff and Kerens.
