Eagle Spa Car Wash was broken into on July 21, 2018.
An arrest has been made in a string of burglaries that affected multiple carwashes and coin laundries in Fairfield, Buffalo, Madisonville, and Groesbeck.
A couple (white male, mid-30s and white female, mid-40s) from the Houston area, staying in Corsicana, had rented a U-haul van for committing their crime spree.
In Fairfield, the couple hit the Eagle Car Spa carwash on east Highway 84 at about 4:15 a.m. on July 21st.
According to owner Landis Bayless, damage to the pay station was upwards of $27,000. He explains that he has video footage of the entire incident, which he turned over to Fairfield Police Department to help with the investigation.

The business was out of service for about two weeks, but is now up and running.
The pair was also caught on video looking at the pay stations at Roadster Car Wash on west Highway 84, but left without attempting to break into them.
While hitting a carwash in Groesbeck, the couple was caught red-handed and arrested.
They are being detained in the Limestone County Jail at this time, until all incidents are fully investigated.
Freestone County has yet to file official charges, therefore, names and mug shots were not available.
