The second quarter ended on a dry note with below normal rainfall for each of the three months with June being the driest at 0.78 inch. Normal rainfall for June is 4.03 inches.

Second quarter rainfall fell 6.10 inches short of normal at 5.82 inches. Normal for the second quarter is 11.92 inches. We had four days with measureable rainfall with a greatest one-day total of 0.57 inch on June 20. Rainfall for the year stands at 16.97 inches. Normal through June is 23.23 inches

Looking ahead to July:   July is normally our driest and hottest month of the year. Normal rainfall for July is 1.95 inch.
