How to Lose with a Winning Hand
Our current political and economic situation approaches that of the great depression of the 1930’s: food banks overwhelmed, groceries and gasoline almost unaffordable, borders wide open, foreign affairs in tatters, and the government a sick parody of competence. The scene is 1000% ripe for a wholesale rout of democrats this November and in 2024.
Or is it? How do we snatch defeat from the jaws of almost certain victory? Some obvious ways:
1) Invest your life savings in a pyramid scheme guaranteeing 20% return
2) Buy Detroit or Los Angeles municipal bonds
3) Emigrate to North Korea
4) Fail to win back congress and the White House
I voted twice for Trump, both times because the alternative was too terrible to consider. Mr. Trump is currently campaigning hard for reelection right now. That said, Trump would be as toxic nationally to our electoral chances as Hillary would be for the enemy [I don’t say loyal opposition].
If the G.O.P. leadership does not select an electable candidate and run him NOW, we are in danger of losing everything.
I would vote for Homer Simpson, Jerry Jones, or Donald Trump before allowing these socialist “progressives” another term to run the country completely into the ditch; they have done far too much damage already. Please contact your congressmen and urge them to act soon.
