Twenty-four youngsters competed in the annual Stick Horse Race and Stick Bull Riding competition held Monday night following the parade.

The event opened with the children treating the crowed to a beautiful grand entrance, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a prayer.

Girls rode their ponies around three barrels and back to the finish line.

In the 4-Years & Under division, Kaselynn Brooke won the coveted belt buckle. Her competitors included Cealy Manahan, Haylin DeFrance, and Briley Hall.

Five to Seven Year Olds winner was Avery Roberts. Also competing were Brooke Fisk, Brynlee Scott, Emily Lane, Bralee Lott, Peyton Scruggs, Ainsley Hall, Ella Coufal, and Ireland Dunn.

Boys tried to stay on their bucking bull for at least 8 seconds.

Taking home the buckle in the 4-Years & Under division was Maze Cathey. Other participants were Conner Fisk, Luke Scott, and Luke Goodson.

In the Five to Seven Year Olds division, Hunter Isaacs snagged the buckle from his competitors, which included Jaxon Rodriguez, Corbin DeFrance, Heston Brooke, Axel Haigler, Kyler Ridge, and Shepard Paul.
