The first in a series of videos about downtown Fairfield hit social media on Labor Day weekend.
Featuring museum curator Patty Pratt, the video introduces a bit of history for the area, including the early cotton days and moonshine notoriety.
The video features permanent exhibits at the Freestone County Historical Musuem, such as the old jail, cabins, and moonshine church.
Film crews from Main Street Reborn visited Fairfield back in March. Their series seeks to tell the story of the people and places behind the rebirth of historic downtowns.
They were initially contacted by Brenda Pate of Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
